It is time to switch out a Max 6096 and the current version in my Lucent labeled box is 7.4.5 tbaxkh.m60. Before that, I was running 7.2.0 tck.m60 in an older Max 6096. I am looking at the version 8 family of TAOS. It looks like 8.0-119.0 is the latest on the ftp site but the numbering system is confusing. Is this later than 8.0.3 or is 8.0.3 the latest? Has anyone had any luck with solid uptime on the version 8 software? My 7.4.5 is rebooting several times a week with Error 100 which means simply a normal reboot. I would like to see some uptimes of several months. I am not doing anything fancy. Just using it as an analog and ISDN dial-up box. No fancy routing. Only 72 modems right now. Advice?
