I have not played with filters yet (will be reading the manual today) as I have also read you can use them to redirect ports for transparent proxing. But a quick question is if the filter works on the ethernet port what about people dialled into the box? Will it stop them also. If you have an example of a working filter that would be great. Thanks to all the people who replied to me about this. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- David Latter Phone: +61 3 5441 8000 Director Fax: +61 3 5444 0075 Origin Internet Solutions Pty Ltd Level 1, 95 Mitchell St dl at origin.net.au Bendigo, Vic 3144 Australia http://www.origin.net.au -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -----Original Message----- Well, couldn't you put a filter on the ethernet port that blocked access that you didn't want?
