I use MegaPOP as a backup system just incase my 4000's take a dump and I got to move customers over. Only had to use it once because of a telco PRI problem. Anyway they require $500 minimum per month and that will provide up to 58 or 60 dialup accounts for your users at $8.50 each. Each of their POP's seem to have different levels of quality, I get customers who can connect to one but not another....go figure. They must be using USR Total Control. > Perhaps you could try: MegaPOP > www.megapop.com > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: owner-ascend-users at max.bungi.com > > [mailto:owner-ascend-users at max.bungi.com]On Behalf Of Dave Higgins > > Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2000 18:20 Alan S. > > To: Ascend Users > > Subject: (ASCEND) [OT] National Dialups > > > > > > Hi there. > > > > Sorry for the OT, but we need to act in a hurry, and I figured > > someone here > > would know where to point me. > > > > The company we were using for reselling national diaups has gone belly up > > and gave us just a few days notice before they'll be cutting off access. > > What we want to do is set up a couple/few of our customers up with another > > form of access just as an end user type account. > > > > Anyone out there offering national numbers, or know of who I > > could send them > > to?
