Hi Folks, I m here and in a fix. I have a user you used to dial on 3com Total Control hub from a freeBSD machine having 3com courier modem or WIN modem. There seems to be no problem at all with the old config. but since i have changed the Access Server from 3com total control to Max3000, that user is not getting connected. He just changed the /etc/ppp/ppp.conf file to connect to new Access Server (Sattic IP for client and new gateway), leaving all other settings intact. Now what happen here is that Max3000 takes the call and route it to termserv instead of taking it as a ppp call, so it doesnt assign any IP (though client has static and we areforcing it from radius). I tried almost all the options but in vain. What could be wrong? Why Max3000 does not take call from freeBSD as a ppp call? I have tried FreeBSD 2.2.3 and 3.2. Any Suggestion??? The only difference in present and previous scenerio is that 3com total control didn't have PRI where as Max3000 is an ISDN/PRI unit.
