Hi Bob, This looks like a software/process crash. Upgrade to at least 7.0.22 and it should cease. Of course, use tbaxkh.m60. The 179's are modem related but the Lucent docs on this error say it's nothing to worry about. "Warning 179 indicates an anomalous event order occurred in terminating a digital call. Normally, a digital call can terminate in an anomalous event order and not cause harm. Warning 179 provides debug information in the unlikely event of a fatal error immediately following the warning." Our dialup users begin to report 'unable to connect' issues and when I go to debug on any of the Max 6096's, this is what is found. Then if you run 'fat' at the debug prompt, there is a history of warnings (below also). Reboot the box and all is well for about a month. These units are running 6.1.7, image tbaxkh.m60. Thanks for any suggestions. b03a8b68 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000014 b03a8b6c b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000015 b03a8b70 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002002 at 00000010 b03a8b68 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000014 b03a8b6c b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000015 b03a8b70 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002002 at 00000010 b03a8b68 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000014 b03a8b6c b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000015 b03a8b70 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002002 at 00000010 b03a8b68 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000014 b03a8b6c b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00002000 at 00000015 b03a8b70 b02d90d8 b02d8c88 b02d89e4 b02846b4 > WARNING: Index: 179 Load: tbaxkh.m60 Revision: 6.1.7 Date: 12/04/2001.
