a) what LAN settings on the MAXEN?
b) your pools must be consistent with the subnet mask, so if ur pool is for
64 addresses, must start at x.y.z.0 or 64 or 128 or 192 not in the middle
like 5 or 72. It may work, but documentation is very clear about above!
c) on your maxen do "show ip route" and find out route for xxx.xxx.114.0 /
255.255.255.0 it must say it as direct if not then your IP config on maxen
may not be correct!

ip config for all the NIC on you LAN (including MAXen) should be

IP Address: xxx.yyy.114.?
netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: xxx.yyy.114.2

as a test you must be able to ping to-&-from any of the IP on your LAN.
