Everything you've shown is correct, assuming the nailed T1 is 
assigned nailed-group 8. As you've got this working with a 6000, you 
just need to make sure that every setting in the 6000 is recreated in 
the TNT. Particularly, pay attention to your compression settings 
(Stac, vj-header-prediction.) A mismatch there will cause problems.

One easy thing to do is save out both configs and compare the T1 and 
connection profiles.

What does the log show for the profile? It should give progress codes 
that can help.

Do you have enough HDLC resources? 'hdlc -a'. You'll need as many as 
you have nailed T1 channels, plus enough for each active ISDN B 
channel.

I've moved nailed T1s back and forth between Max 20s and a TNT 
without difficulty several times. It does work.
