I am using a Max3000's Serial wan port to connect to my upstream bandwidth provider who has a cisco 4500 router at his end of the link. I was wondering ... would I get better performance by using Frame Relay or MPP ? I was earlier using PPP and was getting horrible speeds ... probably because instead of using 16 * 64Kbps bandwidth, the serial was using only 1 * 64Kbps bandwidth. By configuring it to MPP and specifying 16 channels, I am able to get better speeds.
