We recently switched over to NavisRadius 3.2 for our small ISP in san diego CA. We have two Max TNTs and three Max 4048s authenticating off of it from a seperate location. Since bringing this new radius daemon online we have been getting a lot of disconnect issues from our 4048s. Sessions seem to drop after 2 or 3 minutes with an Ascend-Disconnect-Cause = 100 (The sessions timed out because there was no activity on a PPP link.)
My users file looks like this:
DEFAULT authentication-type="Unix-PW"
service-type=Framed
framed-protocol=PPP
framed-routing=None
ascend-assign-ip-pool="0"
ascend-idle-limit="3600"
The ascend-idle-limit seems to be taking on the Max TNTs as they are having no disconnect issues after 2-3 minutes. Is there any reason why this would not take on the 4048s? Could there be a problem elsewhere? I've tried several dictionary files and am currently using themax_dictionary.dct,v 1.4.2.8 2000/12/05 20:06:07 included with the navis radius installation for solaris.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Also please do not hesitate to ask for further info that might help you with this issue.
