Hi Tom, Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything deployed regarding Ascend boxes running V.92. I have heard a lot of 'stories' about it but nothing first-hand. I do know that you will need Multi-DSP cards along with the 9.1 software. Here is the latest info I have on Lucent's V.92 plans..... * V.92 is supported on the MultiDSP cards (both the 48 and 96 port), but not for Series56 (I, II, or III) modem cards. * For TNT customers, you will need the 96MultiDSP cards. * V.92 will be part of TAOS 9.1 (first 2 pieces: QuickConnect and Modem-on-Hold) targeting for 4/01, V.44 shortly after, the last piece (PCM upstream) in Q4CY01. * V.92 is a sw upgrade and will not need a hash code. However, it will be introduced in TAOS 9.1, and there is a charge for base TAOS starting 9.1, there will be a fee for 9.1 TAOS. So in short, you will not be able to try it for free.
