I have an Ascend MAX 4000 unit that we have outside software support people dial up into, lately for some reason they have been unable to get SMB networking to function across the wan link, I can find no settings to account for the problem, dialing up with a 98 laptop works fine. dialing up with a windows ce handheld devices also fails to function properly, no shares can be found or accessed, which is a major problem since we have nurses that dialup and access data. Anybody got a clue?
