Roger, What is the relation between your MAX ethernet ip address (ether options) and your WAN IP Pool? In other words, are they on the same or different subnet or a mix of both (multiple pools). If users are getting "LAN Session Up" but cannot route out, it may be that you need to adjust how the MAX proxy's ARP. Adjust the "proxy mode" setting in ether opts. proxy mode = "off" if WAN ip's are in a different subnet than the MAX "Active" if the WAN ip's are in the same subnet as the MAX "Always" if they are mixed (multiple pools) - David -----Original Message----- From: Roger Salisbury [mailto:rogers at axs4u.net] Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2001 2:36 PM To: ascend-users at bungi.com Subject: Re: (ASCEND) Not Asssigning Subnetted Netmask Not a using profiles, just answer and pools. This all starting out when sometimes user get connected can not route anywhere and then drop. I have also seen 255.255.255.255 be assigned as an address. this is my radius setup.
