Assuming that you have correctly installed and configured the ether2
card.........

1. Try setting the SCM ether port to 'management only'  

2. Check your IP addressing and make sure you are not trying to route out
that interface.  

3. Disable it and try the netstat again.  You may be seeing the sys IP
address, also.

Does anyone know how to redirect traffic out over an ethernet-2 card rather
than letting it go out through the shelf contoller.

I put in a new ethernet-2 card, however, a netstat -i indicates that all
data is still going through the ethernet port on the shelf contoller card.
Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.
