Hi Lennard,

A Max that has ISDN Signaling enabled can still terminate T1 calls for PPP
dial in users. You just have an option, it is not a requirement. If the
MAX was previously running PRI's and you are going to switch to T1's, make
sure that you map each DS0 (channel) on the T1 to a modem slot in addition
to the other config changes you make on the lines.

Subject: (ASCEND) Max with ISDN to use with Channelized T1

Hello,

I have a Max with ISDN/Frame options,
Can this max still be used with Channelized T1 for
regular dialup as a terminal server ?

If not, what can be done ?

Thanks,

Lennard Kong
