We have several max 4K machines running 7.0.26 with CH T1's

!!!!!!HELP ASAP!!!!!!

Customers are getting error messages and having trouble connecting.
If you dial the numbers to the max manually it answers and there is about a 20-30 second pause of silence before the modem tone starts, then handshake as normal.  What can we do to fix this?

Also, necessary, but less critical, How do I set up my Ascend boxes to use a time server.  After only a week the time is off by several minutes.  This is a nightmare when trying to find users on at certain times since our radius logs by the Ascend time instead of radius server time.
