George, In my experience, CRC errors are the result of a bad T1. The most likely suspect is the cable running from the smartjack to the CSU. If this isn't the problem, have the telco loop up your CSU and run a payload test. Their test equipment will be able to identify any problems on the line between the switch and your CSU.
