Troy, Thanks for the response. I was able to get the unit to recognize the 56k modems by reloading the OS in Nindy mode. On the other issue... The model number is MXHP-4T1, that's not a 4002 is it? So, is there any way I can check the first 2 wan ports or force them back to an active state? Or am I just worrying about nothing as I only plan on putting 48 modems in this anyway. It's just going to be for back up in case of emergency. Make sure you have a 56k load installed, this is indicated by a 'k' in the firmware file name. Recommend the latest release of ftik.m40 (depending on the features you need). For the other, if it was originally a 4002, it may have been rehashed to enable wan 3 and 4 due to damage to wan ports 1 or 2 (I once had a 4002 with all 4 ports enabled, but wan2 was damaged).
