Hi there. When I telnet into our MaxTNT, I can successfully ping to and telnet into any outside valid address, however, when we're dialed into the same TNT, the only things we can ping are other servers in the same class C. With dialup, we can't ping the gateway (it's the telco/co-lo's router), but can ping the other servers in the same Class C. I use the TNT as an example, but actally, it's not unique to the TNT. The same seems to happen with the Max 4000 series, and with an NT/R&RAS unit on the same Class C. The telco/co-lo sees everything working on their end. I've been trying and trying to redial to connect to a RAS that sits on another Class C, but it's 1 out of 7 PRI lines that goes to it. If I can find my way into it, then I'll be able to tell you what I see from the outside (effectively). Anyone ever experience anything like this? Any ideas??? The phones are ringing off the hook.
