I am new to the Max TNT, my background being the venerable AS5248 systems. We recently replaced 14 AS5248s with a TNT with the channelized T3 card and the v3 56k modem cards. I am having a HELL of a time trying to get the system to do my bidding. Documentation seems to be scarce and spotty, but that is probably only because I haven't figured out the best search terms yet. :-) Basic setup: 4 NFAS groups with 7 PRIs in each. D channel on first interface in each group. Groups numbered 0-3, with interfaces numbered 0-6. Switch type is nat-isdn-2-pri. At any rate I have a number of current problems I would appreciate any help with. - when I reboot the system, the DS3 and all B and D channels come up. The unit answers calls, but anywhere from 5 to 35 minutes later the ds3 falls down. This sounds like clock slip to me but I can't configure the DS3 clock, only the T1 clocks. They're all set to eligable and mid-priority, although I have changed PRI #1 to high priority to see if that helped. It didn't. :-( - How does one set up a modem pool that spans three class Cs? I seem to only be able to assign one ip pool to the answer-defaults, but I dont' want to include the .0 or .255 of address since win9x seems to have trouble with these IPs. - Is the TNT able to be a Radius server as well as client? I seem to be able to configure both and I'm a little confused as to which way it is to be "seen" (from TNT or from network) These are the biggies.
