This question relates to an Ascend Max 2000

Has anyone come across the problem where a user can connect to the modem
okay, but during the session loses network connectivity.  The modem
still thinks it has an active session from the users end.  Connectivity
is not returned and the user is left to log out.  It does not happen all
the time and does not appear to be related to a particular port on the
ascend max.

Can anyone suggest a cause to this problem?  Is it the Ascend max box or
could it be the LAN switch it connects to.  The LAN switch supports
other services which are not having problems.
