I see our 4048 has 4 T1 ports on the back of it and room for expansion cards to accomodate 96 modems. It is running ftik.m40 (7.0.28) and the software op[tion to configure slot 2 is there. It does not seem to allow the changes though, as soon as I save anything for slot 2 it simply reverts back to the original config... My question is... Can I load 6000 code on a 4000 box and enable those 2 extra T1 ports? Add some more modems and thus save me the cost of purchasing another chassis? Thanks in advance, Vincent
