We tried one of these for Win 2000 with the beta drivers and 98.. Flakey
but if they improved the drivers 
( or someone developed them on a platform that is not bug riddled first) 
It is a neat idea ..

Hey, that's neat.  It says they supports MacOS and Win98...  how well does

work in Linux?  I've never tried setting up a USB storage device.  Is
performance acceptable?
