I've been looking to dump the Intel architecture for a while.. As anyone who has looked at it will tell you, it's gotten pretty crufty. Since I run Linux and only Linux, this isn't terribly hard to do, either. Anyway, I'm just curious if there are places where you can actually buy parts for Alpha systems. I realize this stuff's probably out of my price range (though there is apparently a guy selling a whole pile of 600MHz Alpha processors on Ebay for $300 each). I almost bid on that plus an Alpha motherboard, but the only mobo I could find only had 4 PCI slots, and no AGP.
