Well, the only thing you can really say bad about the G400 is that it isn't the G450. There are some missing features on the G400's second head, such as gamma correction and DPMS (monitor sleep), and it can't power a monitor past 1280x1024. The G400 works with stock XFree86, though you need to get Matrox's driver to run dual-head (it comes with some microcode that gets uploaded to the video card).
