Mr. Tanner, I am sure all of us are very thankful to you and Real Time for donating bandwidth and server space to host the LUG mailing list. I don't want to seem ungrateful. It is clear that you see the LKML and the TCLUGML as inseperable. Can you explain why in newbie terms? Is there a reason that this has to be this way? Is the LUG somehow sponsring the LKML or is the LKML in need of the LUG per se? A more narrow question would be; does the LKML need the TCLUG Mailing List? If the LKML and the TCLUGML need to be entwined; is it not possible to do that by having the TCLUGML be on a totally different machine and synch with the LKML archives every 24 hours? Samir M.
