I managed to figure out how to add True Type fonts to XFree86 (Red Hat)

A -
Install freetype. http://rpmfind.net

B - backups:
/etc/X11/fs/config,
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4

C-
1- create directory such as /usr/share/fonts/TrueType/
2- copy all true type fonts to said directory.
3- # touch fonts.dir; # touch fonts.scale
4- in directory: # ttmkfdir > fonts.scale; # ttmkfdir fonsta.dir
5- In directory: # mkfontdir

D- edit /etc/X11/fs/config :
look for [ catalogue = ] and on a new line below the other folders add
the directory you created to hold your fonts.

E- edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 :
look for [ Section "Module" ] and on a new line add [ Load "freetype" ]

F-
Restart the X server.

G-
Once this is done once, just go through C-4 and C-5 again when you add
more fonts.
