You're in luck--there's going to be an installfest (where people bring in their computers and install/upgrade/show off their systems) on Oct. 12th in Minneapolis. See http://www.mn-linux.org/installfest/ for details. It's free, and there is plenty of help available should you so need it. I have a Lexmark Z51 and I rue the day that I bought it instead of an HP. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Lexmark, for some incomprehensible reason, has good Linux support for their laser printers but horrible support for their deskjet printers. Under Linux, it only prints in b&w; color gets mangled badly. If you can live without color, it works fine; otherwise, ask for an Epson or HP for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa. :Peter
