I've recently put RH9 on an IBM Netfinity 5000 (PII, 350MHz) and
an Adaptec 2100S. RH9 has a driver for this card, so there was no
need to make a floppy of any type (as long as you can boot the
installation disc).

Make sure you visit Adaptec's site and get the latest firmware.
(Unless you have a Netfinity!)
