I'm glad that some people are interested in hosting and running another install fest. Here are some things to think about: The last time we had a fest in a conference room we blew out the power. If we estimate 20 machines at 2 amps per machine, that's 40 amps. That's a rough estimate, I will have a better description in the How-To. Some questions: Is there enough (RDBMS pun warning) table space for 20 computers? Will it be easy for people to get computers from the parking lot in and out of the room? I'm not trying to be an asshole, but from my very limited experience and from reading a few install fest pages I'm beginning to understand the issues involved.
