Greetings, I have just recently jumped on the Linux bandwagon, the reason is because I felt that there had to be a better way than Microsoft. So I decided to partition my hard disk into ME, 2000, and RedHat 8.0. No problems, however right now I am trying to get RedHat to find my Motorola SM56 modem, I just don't know how to do this, I have tried to use Internet Configuration Wizard, in Gnome but it only offers a Generic Modem. I was wondering how in the world can I find my modem and also hook it up to the Internet? Like I said before I am a total newbie, so be kind. Thanks Joel B. Hill-Ische a.k.a. "Gung-ho Joe" May you be happy and Well _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
