I have a piece of software that was originally written for Redhat 6.2. I need to compile this on Redhat 9, but I'm getting all sorts of errors related to automake. There's supposedly a tool called autoupdate, which will fix your configure.ac file, but after I run it, it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know of a way to get code that required an old version of automake and autoconf to compile with newer versions without downgrading? -jay _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
