With the 2.6 kernel out (happy holiday) and most of us Linux newbies not getting a clue for Christmas. It would be nice to see the process of building a kernel. Installing is one thing but maintaining (upgrading) is another. Once I see something done by someone who knows what they are doing, I'm more likely to try it my self. I would like to install Linux on my old Sun Sparc 2 by way of a serial terminal connection. I think I'll wait for the next install fest, that way others can see how it's done.
