I'm attemting to setup "secure" ftp. Secure in this case means that only anonmous logins are allowed. Anyway, I've got RedHat 7.3 and I've installed vsftpd and configured it to allow anonmous writes and only anonmous logins. I've created a world writable directory for it and I can upload files just fine. Problem is I can't delete the files via ftp. Here's what I get when I try and delete a file: ftp> rm update1234 500 Unknown command. RMD command not recognized, trying XRMD 500 Unknown command. ftp> delete update1234 500 Unknown command. Any ideas? -- Jon Schewe | http://mtu.net/~jpschewe | jpschewe at mtu.net For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
