Whoever made the rpm had perl in /usr/local/bin. 1. Install the src.rpm, the files will go in /usr/src/redhat (or whatever your rpm build root is.) 2. edit the spec file /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/rrdtool.spec and remove /usr/local/bin/perl. rpmbuild should find this dependency automatically. 3. Build the rpm using rpmbuild -bb rrdtool.spec. If you want a new src.rpm at the end of this, use -ba instead. 4. Congratulate yourself.
