Hey everyone, I need to buy a new NIC and I noticed that the Intel Pro/100 NICs have 168-bit 3DES coprocessors. Just out of curiosity, can Linux utilize that coprocessor automatically, or does that have to be built into the driver? On a side note, which NIC gives the most bang for the buck these days? Good Linux support is an obvious requirement. -Tim -- Tim Wilson Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Science teacher, Linux fan, Zope developer, Grad. student, Daddy mailto:wilson at visi.com | http://qwerk.org/ | public key: 0x8C0F8813 _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
