Does anyone know how I could run mgetty on a pseudo terminal? I can't seem to make it work. The basic idea would be to start mgetty listening on /dev/pty/m1 (the master), and then be able to connect to it with Minicom on /dev/pty/s1 (the slave). This should work right? I'm not getting anything. I know it sounds useless, but once I get this working, I'll make mgetty (or agetty) start something other than /bin/login. It's to fake out a program that needs a modem and doesn't speak IP. -jay _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
