You can only buy it through their business to business site, it is made with quality components, and comes with a full 3 year warranty. It may say Compaq nc6000 on it, but I am of the opinion that naming is merely to appease the Compaq overlords. I also have an Atheros chipset in this laptop. I have had *way* better service with HP and this laptop than I have ever had from Dell. When I received it they had sent the battery with an incorrect plastic cover. I called them, talked to someone, they identified the problem in a minute, and then overnighted me a new cover. The cool thing is they didn't just send the cover, they sent a plastic set that includes all the removable plastic pieces on the whole laptop. So now if I have any little widgets break I have a backup. -- Bret Baptist Systems and Technical Support Specialist bbaptist at iexposure.com Internet Exposure, Inc. http://www.iexposure.com (612)676-1946 x17 Web Development-Web Marketing-ISP Services ------------------------------------------ Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
