Get to a command prompt using a rescue disk or your original RH disk. Run 'grub-install /dev/hda' (if you want grub to install on the master boot record for your primary drive). Be careful. http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.3-Manual/ref-guide/ch-grub.ht ml http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/ Jeff Rasmussen -----Original Message----- From: Rodney G. I do I get Grub working again? I've tried "Rescue" but what that does is seeemingly reconfigure the boot-loader and then goes into the update mode for RH. It then decides that no upgrades are needed and exits notifying me that no changes will be made. My only choice seems to be to re-install RH unless there's a way to re-create the mbr with grub. _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
