That's hilarious! I one time had an HPUX machine that I didn't reboot for a year. It crashed because there was a hidden system log that was supposed to have been turned off shortly after we brought it up. The log filled up as it was limited in length or lines and when it filled, it stopped the system because it was required to write a message. We were lucky it was at a reasonable time of day and the SE knew about the problem. Most Unix/Linux systems don't need rebooting unless your adding something that requires it. Maybe another 10 years they'll get it right!
