Can anyone give me a logical explanation as to why gmail accounts have a minimum length of six characters? Accounts must be six to thirty characters. I can see why they're implementing an upper limit - but why the lower? I use sraun. The only place I don't use sraun is work, because they said 'our standard is this, use it' and my bank, which didn't like such a short login id either. For the bank, I grit my teeth and came up with something longer. Gmail is not, at this point, sufficiently tempting to overcome my distaste at not being allowed my favorite userid. -- Scott Raun sraun at fireopal.org _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
