I have a Nomad MuVo myself (256mb). For a music device to use durring a workout, it simply rocks. It doesn't support OGG no, but it didn't take long to reencode all my CDs either. I actually dropped down to 128 VBR mp3s to get a few extr songs out of that 256mb... It mounts just find as a USB mass storage device, worlds easier than in windows. Even WinXP won't just detect the MuVo and run with it...have to install Creative's software, etc. (Maybe it's better in SP2, but not holding my breath.) The battery live off one AAA battery is very nice. 6+ hours at least. OGG support isn't there yes...but I can live with that. For the size and price, I'm happy with it. It's great for workouts. For day to day stuff though, I've consolidated and moved over to my Treo 600 for my protable MP3/OGG player. Works quite well. One SD card has mp3s, the other has Audible audio books and radio broadcasts. Cool stuff. But I would never ever take my Treo running. :) _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
