I think it should work OK for you. Give it a shot. I have been using a 486DX-33 with not a lot of RAM (32MB max.) for a number of years and I haven't ever had any problems. I have run various pieces of software on it from the single floppy disk Coyote Linux to Smoothwall 2.0 beta. Everything seemed equally fast.
