Does grub save the old MBR when it installs itself? I have a friend who installed kubuntu to a second hard drive (windows, of course, on the first) and now wants to pull the second drive off that computer, but the computer won't boot without it. I would like to restore the original MBR and use the windows boot loader to choose the OS. Thanks, Patrick McCabe
