You really can't get a whole lot more detailed than that. Here are the instructions from the horse's mouth, so to speak: http://earth.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=44713&ctx=sibling You won't be able to install this from Gnome/KDE/whatever. You'll need to open up a command shell, use the cd command to navigate to the location where you saved the .bin file and the follow either the instructions Josh sent or the google instructions. -erik
