Linux is like the free market, do whatever you want that works for you. I'm pretty sure thats what we learned from all those other posts. With 4 gigs of RAM you don't have to worry about one being more hogging than the other so go with whatever floats your boat. Mix and match gnome and KDE apps to your hearts delight or branch out and try other terminal/console apps Go forth and express your individuality without worry of government regulation.
