The Windows OCR software that comes with my scanners doesn't seem any better or as good as Tesseract for Linux that is highly praised. Exactly what is your complaint or need for function that is better in Windows? What does one have to pay to get better than the excellent free stuff, and what does it do that is better? Chuck
