As far as I know, no one is offering fiber to consumers in the greater
TC market. The two consumer fiber products I'm aware of are FiOS (from
Verizon) and Uverse (from AT&T). If you know of someone different, let
me know, because I'm looking to get away from this stupid cable modem. I
really don't want to deal with DSL because frankly, I don't trust Qwest,
and they're lines have been the source of my frustration with DSL.
