This is not systematic benchmarking, but ... The first time I tried it, I measured how quickly it copied a file from the external drive to my laptop's internal hard drive. The file was 2.9 GB and it copied it in 17 seconds. A file that size was taking about 2 minutes by USB 2. Now I want to add USB 3 to my other machines, so I am also interested in the hubs. Mike
