That version of browser will likely render web pages just fine for a long time to come. But, there are numerous security updates for known vulnerabilities that have been patched with later versions of Firefox. The list can be found here: http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html IMO, one should upgrade Firefox because of that list.
