The camera is a Foscam FI8905W that's why I was researching on that link. I recall someone else had some sort of "video to ssd" project going a bit ago but I was not following it very closely which is unfortunate for me.

Hi, I recently found a camera in the garbage can while I was searching for my dinner. I am wondering if anyone else has experience with cameras running on the Linux operating system? Currently I am interested in the report as found here by the link provided: --> http://www.linux.com/learn/tutorials/762058-how-to-operate-your-spycams-with-zoneminder-on-linux-part-1-
